Our
theme this year is the borderless marketplace on the Web. We
will explore e-commerce sites and launch one of our own. In the
process, we will learn all kinds of things, from the art of online
collaboration to the craft of creating a Web site. We will learn
how to find local products, package them and market them to the
world. |
Exploring
| In
Activity 1 we explore e-commerce
sites to see how some of the best ones are designed. We rank sites
according to criteria such as "easy to use" or "sticky". |
Building
| In Activity 2 we actually build a site and launch it on the Web! We find and document local products in our communities, and we market the site worldwide. |
