Three Pomegranates
A
program of the e4d institute |
Three Pomegranates is the Armenian program of the Education for
Development Institute (www.e4d.org).
The
e4d mission is to promote education as a foundation and catalyst
of development. The institute targets personal, economic and human
development by implementing educational tools and programs that:
- Foster
critical thinking and creative learning processes
- Cultivate
global collaboration and awareness of cultural identity
- Provide
access to key resources and training
At
e4d, we believe that effective learning occurs through programs that
spark the curiosity of students and teachers, while challenging them
through engaging and creative projects. Personal, social and cultural
identities act as important links between acquired knowledge and the
life of students and teachers within their local communities, as well
as the global community in which we all participate.
By engaging students and educators in project based collaboration
and active learning, e4d connects members of globally dispersed
cultures and links different communities worldwide. It provides
a path toward an improved quality of life, while acting as a bridge
between cultural heritage and everyday life and progress.
