Scientist and inventor
We need some information regarding a famous Armenian scientist who invented a big machine.

1. Find the URL (Web address) of the science magazine Scientific American, and go to their Web page. Hint: Use the Yahoo index (http://www.yahoo.com) go to News and Media - Magazines and search for "Scientific American".
2. Checking the available articles from the June 1997 issue of Scientific American, find the name of the Armenian scientist. What did he invent?

3. Send him an email message (one per school) about his invention. You can address the message to the company he founded in 1978. Don't forget to include the address for the Activity I mailbox (nnp-linking@3noor.org) in the cc: field of the message.

4. Can you find other contemporary famous Armenians on the Web? You can input a phrase such as Famous Armenians in a search engine like HotBot at http://www.hotbot.com.
