Activity I
- Networks - is desiged to help us discover the World Wide Web as a
source of information and a channel of communication.
It has two parts:
- A tutorial on the Internet and the Web - The Mashtots Avenue Festival |
Before you embark on the Festival organization exercise, you can take a look at our tutorial introduction to email, browsers, search engines and so on by clicking on the link below.

When you are done with the tutorial, or if you are too curious to wait, click on the "Get the instructions" area on the right to see the details of the Festival. As you find the required missing information - images, text, data - in the World Wide Web, go to the area marked "Post your work" in order to submit your multimedia findings by email. Once the different participants have begun to report their findings, clicking on the "See the results" area will take you to a page where you will see your contribution on display, and take a look at what others have found.
To jump to the main page of another activity, click on the color-coded areas marked "Activiy I, II or III". If you are lost, you could click on the site map icon at the lower right to see the relationships between the different parts of the Narod Network Project 1999 site.
