Visitors
to the Festival will probably be in a festive mood, but they may
still want to keep up with the latest news about Armenia and
Armenains worldwide. Rather than provide newspapers, the
Armenina News booth will have many online sources of information
gathered from the Internet.
Task: Find
the URLs of as many Armenian newspapers, magazines and
newsletters as you can.
Hint:
Try the following.
Go to the News and Media section of
Yahoo and enter the search
text: Armenia (but make sure to choose "just this category"
to limit your search to News and Media.)
Go
to Infoseek and enter the
search text: Armenian news.
Go
to the Armenians in Cyberspace Web site at
http://www.flash.net/~hamoarb/armenweb.html
and use the search engine provided there (typing "news"
for example.)
Go
to Yahoo and enter the
search text: "International Newspapers Online by Country".
Note: If you
are curious, you can check the "Links" in some of
the newspaper sites you visit.
