Internet videoconferencing has become a regular feature of the 3PN. Although it is not meant to replace collaboration by posting to the NNP Web site and by email, videoconferencing is an effective complement to that type of interaction. Students who have come to know each other through their written and graphical exchanges, have a chance to see and talk to each other live. Through Internet Videoconferencing, they gain a more intense exposure to the possibilities of telecommunications technologies and, more significantly, to their global peers.
